Efficient Zero-Knowledge Proofs [PDF]
A zero-knowledge proof is a two-party protocol that enables a prover to convince a verifier of the truth of a statement without revealing anything else. Zero-knowledge proofs are widely used in cryptography to guarantee that parties are acting correctly without revealing their private information.

Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

Physical Zero-Knowledge Proof for Makaro [PDF]
Makaro is a logic game similar to Sudoku. In Makaro, a grid has to be filled with numbers such that: given areas contain all the numbers up to the number of cells in the area, no adjacent numbers are equal and some cells provide restrictions on the largest adjacent number. We propose a proven secure physical algorithm, only relying on cards, to realize
