Zero-Field Splitting Parameters from Four-Component Relativistic Methods

open access: yes, 2019
We report an approach for determination of zero-field splitting parameters from four-component relativistic calculations. Our approach involves neither perturbative treatment of spin–orbit interaction nor truncation of the spin–orbit coupled states.

Stage‐Dependent β‐Synuclein Links MRI and Cognitive Decline in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Synaptic degeneration drives cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD), but synaptic biomarkers are scarce. Brain‐enriched β‐synuclein emerged as a synaptic damage marker. We investigated its diagnostic, prognostic, and structural correlates across the AD continuum.

Research on the uncontrolled zero-sequence current of an open-end winding PMSM with common DC link [PDF]

open access: yes
This thesis describes the research based on a particular type of the motor drives called an open-end winding permanent magnet synchronous motor drive with common DC link.

Detection of demagnetization faults in surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motors by means of the zero-sequence voltage component

open access: yes
This paper develops and analyzes an online methodology to detect demagnetization faults in surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motors. The proposed methodology, which takes into account the effect of the inverter that feeds the machine, is based

Measurement and analysis of zero sequence current levels during normal operation

open access: yes, 2019
In the Netherlands, power grids and railway systems are located in close proximity over considerable lengths. Zero-sequence currents in the transmission grid may have an influence on neighbouring systems through inductive coupling.

Arterial Spin‐Labeling MRI at the Cortical‐CSF Interface: A Novel Biomarker in Alzheimer Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objective Arterial spin‐labeling (ASL) MRI can measure perfusion signal adjacent to CSF spaces and may provide information regarding CSF‐adjacent water transport physiology. We developed an automated pipeline to extract cortical‐CSF interface (IF) perfusion for comparison between Alzheimer disease (AD) and cognitively normal ...

Data‐Driven SuStaIn Model of Disability Progression in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To determine whether ordinal Subtype and Stage Inference (SuStaIn) applied to routine ALSFRS‐R item scores can identify reproducible disability progression patterns in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and provide clinically meaningful staging.

Diffuse MRI Edema Predicts Relapse in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy–Related Inflammation

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To identify MRI predictors of relapse and quantify relapse and mortality risk in cerebral amyloid angiopathy–related inflammation (CAA‐RI). A secondary objective was to assess the association between mycophenolate mofetil use and relapse risk. Methods We performed a retrospective cohort study of 36 patients with CAA‐RI treated at the

Simulation Analysis of Single-phase Grounding Fault of Resonant Grounding System

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2012
For problem of difficult line selection caused by small current of fault line with uncertain direction when single-phase grounding fault happens in resonant grounding system, the paper theoretically analyzed change law of zero-sequence voltage and zero ...

Clinical Impact of MGMT Promoter Methylation in IDH‐Mutant Gliomas: Influence of Threshold Selection and Clinical Confounding

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The clinical relevance of MGMT promoter methylation in IDH‐mutant gliomas remains controversial in the era of molecular classification. We aimed to systematically evaluate its clinical relevance by integrating quantitative assessment, cutoff exploration, and adjustment for clinical confounding.
