Automated signature generation for Zero-day polymorphic worms using a Double-honeynet

open access: yes, 2012
Includes bibliographical references. This thesis proposes an accurate system for signature generation for Zero-day polymorphic worms. Thesis consists of two parts: In part one, polymorphic worm instances are collected by designing a novel Double-honeynet ...

Modeling of PMSMs Considering Spatial Harmonics, Interturn Short-Circuit Faults, and Zero-Sequence Components

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Industry Applications
This paper presents a rotor-position dependent (RPD) model for permanent-magnet synchronous machines (surface-mounted or interior permanent-magnet) considering both space harmonics, interturn short-circuit faults and zero-sequence components. First, the healthy machine model is obtained.

Sequence component direction element based on power frequency variation

open access: yes, 2021
Unlike the relatively stable network structure of the transmission and distribution network, under the new distribution network, resulting in errors in the impedance tuning of the fault directional element, misjudgment of the fault directional element ...

How phagocytic cells kill bacteria: Lessons from a professional killer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
How phagocytic cells ingest and kill bacteria has been studied for more than a century, but many questions remain unanswered. The study of the amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum brings new answers, and new questions. Professional phagocytic cells such as neutrophils and macrophages, as well as free‐living soil amoebae like Dictyostelium discoideum, employ

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

DC current control of a zero-sequence load using a diode rectifier for a three-phase four-wire motor drive system

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2020
This paper describes the active DC current control of a zero-sequence load using a diode rectifier for a three-phase four-wire motor drive system, intended for application to (for example) a three-phase motor with an axial magnetic bearing.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.
