Mixed‐Metal Promotion in a Manganese‐Molybdenum Oxynitride as Catalyst to Integrate C─C and C─N Coupling Reactions for the Direct Synthesis of Acetonitrile from Syngas and Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Azobenzene's Cross‐Scale Optics and Photonics: Molecular Photoswitching, Mesoscopic Material Motions, and Adaptive Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Azobenzene photoswitches translate molecular‐scale E/Z photoisomerization into macroscopic material responses and device‐level photonic functions. This Review highlights how azobenzene research has evolved from molecular photochemistry to photoalignment, mass migration, photomechanics, and heat release, ultimately enabling holography, reconfigurable ...

Recent Progress in the Phase‐Controlled Synthesis of Ruthenium Nanocrystals for Catalytic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Template effect and kinetic control enable crystal‐phase engineering of Ru nanocrystals, granting access to either metastable fcc‐Ru or stable hcp‐Ru with distinct surface structures, thermal stabilities, and catalytic behaviors. Moreover, the hcp‐Ru can further serve as an epitaxial template to direct Pd and Rh nanocrystals into the metastable hcp ...

Unveiling α‐MoO3 as a High‐Index, Low‐Loss Anisotropic Material: Bridging the Gap From Mid‐Infrared to Ultraviolet Nanophotonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
α‐MoO3 is established as a high‐index, low‐loss anisotropic platform bridging mid‐infrared polaritonics and ultraviolet‐visible nanophotonics. Spectroscopic ellipsometry and calculations reveal refractive indices exceeding 3.9, with the largest in‐plane birefringence among transparent layered crystals at 425–500 nm, enabling zero‐order UV waveplates ...

Zero-Shot 3D Object Classification via Graph-Based Local Geometric Features and Depth-Aware Multi-View Projection

open access: yesSensors
Three-dimensional sensing technologies can rapidly acquire 3D point cloud data for object perception and scene understanding. However, point cloud-based object classification is still constrained by limited labeled data and high computational complexity.

Variational Zero-Shot Multispectral Pansharpening

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing
Pansharpening aims to generate a high spatial resolution multispectral image (HRMS) by fusing a low spatial resolution multispectral image (LRMS) and a panchromatic image (PAN). The most challenging issue for this task is that only the to-be-fused LRMS and PAN are available, and the existing deep learning-based methods are unsuitable since they rely on

1‐D Collocated Dual‐Gradient Sensory Fibers for Comprehensive Sensing and Decoding of Complex Human Motion and Physiology

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Coupled materials design enables a monolithic fiber that integrates complementary sensing regimes into a single wearable strand. By preserving informative signal features across subtle physiological deformation, large body motion, and mixed mechanical inputs, the dual‐gradient architecture generates synchronized, less redundant outputs that improve ...

Few-Shot Methods for Aspect-Level Sentiment Analysis

open access: yesInformation
In this paper, we explore the approaches to the problem of cross-domain few-shot classification of sentiment aspects. By cross-domain few-shot, we mean a setting where the model is trained on large data in one domain (for example, hotel reviews) and is ...
