Zero voltage switching differential inverters

This paper proposes a family of single-phase single-stage step-up/down ZVS inverters derived from adding an LC series resonant circuit to the conventional differential inverters and controlling them in such a way that ZVS happens for individual switches. Differential inverters are single-stage step-up/down inverters.

A Zero-Voltage Switching Three-Phase Inverter

A new modulation scheme for the active clamping zero-voltage switching (ZVS) inverter is proposed. With the proposed modulation scheme, the inverter can realize ZVS operation in all switching devices and can remarkably suppress the reverse recovery current in insulated-gate bipolar transistor's antiparallel diodes as well.

This paper proposes a zero voltage switching (ZVS) technique for bidirectional dc/dc converters. The dc/dc unit considered consists of two distinct bidirectional dc/dc cells paralleled at both input and output and whose two input bridges are coupled by means of passive inductive branches.
