A classical statistical model for distributions of escape events in swept-bias Josephson junctions
We have developed a model for experiments in which the bias current applied to a Josephson junction is slowly increased from zero until the junction switches from its superconducting zero-voltage state, and the bias value at which this occurs is recorded.

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

In this paper, a new bidirectional buck-boost dc-dc converter with capability of soft switching and zero input current ripple is proposed. The coupled inductor is used in the proposed converter to eliminate the input current ripple.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Thermally activated switching rate of a nanomagnet in the presence of spin torque
The current dependence of the spin torque switching rate in a thermally activated region of an in-plane magnetized system was studied. The logarithm of the switching rate depended nonlinearly on current in the high-current region, I_{c} < I < I_{c ...

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

IGBT Dynamic Loss Reduction through Device Level Soft Switching
Due to its low conduction loss, hence high current ratings, as well as low cost, Silicon Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (Si IGBT) is widely used in high power applications.

Molecular spintronics using noncollinear magnetic molecules
We investigate the spin transport through strongly anisotropic noncollinear magnetic molecules and find that the noncollinear magnetization acts as a spin-switching device for the current.
