Interplay between RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures in gene regulation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Methodological advances in mapping transcriptome‐wide RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures have started to uncover the potential of RNP conformations in gene regulation. Competing RNA–RNA, RNA‐protein and protein–protein interactions shape the compaction and function of RNPs throughout their lifetime and may provide novel therapeutic targets in ...

Lattice study on finite density QC2D towards zero temperature

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate the phase structure and the equation of state (EoS) for dense two-color QCD (QC2D) at low temperature (T = 40 MeV, 324 lattice) for the purpose of extending our previous works [1, 2] at T = 80 MeV (164 lattice).

Non-vanishing zero-temperature normal density in holographic superfluids

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The low energy and finite temperature excitations of a d + 1-dimensional system exhibiting superfluidity are well described by a hydrodynamic model with two fluid flows: a normal flow and a superfluid flow.

Chaos and operator growth in 2d CFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We study the out-of-time-ordered correlator (OTOC) in a zero temperature 2d large-c CFT under evolution by a Liouvillian composed of the Virasoro generators. A bound was conjectured in [1] on the growth of the OTOC set by the Krylov complexity which is a

From Monge–Ampère equations to envelopes and geodesic rays in the zero temperature limit [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Let $$(X,\theta )$$(X,θ) be a compact complex manifold X equipped with a smooth (but not necessarily positive) closed (1, 1)-form $$\theta .$$θ. By a well-known envelope construction this data determines, in the case when the cohomology class $$[\theta ]$

Hands‐on protocol for preparing water‐soluble fractions from agri‐food samples for NMR‐based metabolomics analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.

Low temperature sintered ZnTiO3 dielectric ceramics with temperature coefficient of dielectric constant near zero [PDF]

open access: yesProcessing and Application of Ceramics, 2010
ZnTiO3 compound is an attractive dielectric ceramics owing to its interesting dielectric properties in high frequency range (εr= 19, QXf = 30,000GHz, τε ≈ +120 ppm/°C).

Black and gray solitons in holographic superfluids at zero temperature

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We construct gray soliton configurations, which move at constant speeds, in holographic superfluids for the first time. Since there should be no dissipation for a moving soliton to exist, we use the simplest holographic superfluid model at zero ...

Non trivial overlap distributions at zero temperature

open access: yes, 2000
We explore the consequences of Replica Symmetry Breaking at zero temperature. We introduce a repulsive coupling between a system and its unperturbed ground state.

Age‐Related Changes in Myeloid Cells and Their Impact on Subcutaneous Melanoma Growth in Mice

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Our findings reveal that age‐related changes in subcutaneous melanoma growth and immunotherapy response are context‐dependent. In models where tumor growth and treatment resistance increase with age, this effect is partly driven by enhanced immunosuppression from myeloperoxidase‐active Gr‐1⁺ myeloid cells.
