Impact of Zero Tillage in India's Rice-Wheat Systems
2007To date, the most widely adopted resource conserving technology (RCT) in the Indo-Gangetic Plains (IGP)has been zero-tillage (ZT) for wheat after rice, particularly in India. This report reviews and synthesizes the experience with zero tillage in the Indian IGP.

Zero-tillage for rice production on Cameroonian Vertisols
Soil and Tillage Research, 1996Abstract The applicability of zero-tillage (ZT) for irrigated rice (Oriza sativa L.) as compared with conventional tillage (CT) was investigated on Cameroonian Vertisols over four cropping seasons. Soil parameters evaluated were particle size distribution and soil moisture profile. Bulk density was also monitored. Because experimental plots were kept

Herbicide Transport in Surface Runoff from Conventional and Zero-Tillage Fields
Journal of Environmental Quality, 2013During the past four decades of crop production in the prairie region of Canada, there has been a dramatic shift from conventional management (CM) to conservation tillage management in which one or more tillage operations has been replaced by herbicide application.

Mixed cropping regimes promote the soil fungal community under zero tillage
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, 2017Fungi of yield soils represent a significant portion of the microbial biomass and reflect sensitivity to changes in the ecosystem. Our hypothesis was that crops included in cropping regimes under the zero tillage system modify the structure of the soil fungi community.

Research and technology policies in innovation systems: zero tillage in Brazil
Research Policy, 2003The increasing complexity of technology development and adoption is rapidly changing the effectiveness of scientific and technological policies. Complex technologies are developed and disseminated by networks of agents. The impact of these networks depends on the assets they command, their learning routines, the socio-economic environment in which they
