A Zero-Voltage-Transition H5-Type Transformerless Photovoltaic Grid-Connected Inverter

open access: yesIEEE Access
Efficiency and leakage current are two major issues for transformerless grid-connected inverters (TLI). Soft-switching technology can reduce switching losses, and is a good choice for high-frequency TLIs. Herein, a zero-voltage-transition H5 type (ZVT-H5)

Control and performance of a zero-current-switched three-phase inverter equipped with resonant circuits on the AC-side [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
This paper presents a zero-current-switched voltage-fed inverter equipped with resonant circuits on the AC side. The current flowing through a switching device, i.e., an IGBT is a sum of the load current and the resonant current.

An extendable soft‐switched high step‐up converter with near zero‐ripple input current suitable for fuel cell‐powered applications

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation, 2022
In this paper, an extendable high step‐up topology is presented for the low input voltage applications, that is, fuel cell (FC) source. The proposed converter eliminates the pulsating input current and reduces the high input current ripple.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Abrupt metal-insulator transition observed in VO2 thin films induced by a switching voltage pulse

open access: yes, 2005
An abrupt metal-insulator transition (MIT) was observed in VO2 thin films during the application of a switching voltage pulse to two-terminal devices.

Optically Triggered Self-Adaptive Zero Voltage Switching

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2023
Zero voltage switching (ZVS) is useful to increase power electronics efficiency but difficult to achieve due to the nonlinear parasitic capacitance of the power semiconductors and varying load current. This letter proposes a self-adaptive ZVS method by using the intrinsic electroluminescence (EL) property of SiC mosfets to automatically adjust the ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Discontinuous Current Mode Modeling and Zero Current Switching of Flyback Converter

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
The flyback converters are widely used in low power applications. The switch typically requires 600 V breakdown voltage in order to perform large step-down voltage.

Zero voltage switching double-ended converter

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2010
A new zero voltage switching (ZVS) converter with a double-ended rectifier is presented to reduce switching losses on power semiconductors, decrease voltage stresses on rectifier diodes and achieve bidirectional power delivery to output load. A buck-boost type of active snubber is connected in parallel with the primary side of a transformer to recycle ...

Antibiofilm activity of a chionodracine‐derived peptide by NMR‐based metabolomics of cell‐free supernatant of Acinetobacter baumannii clinical strains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KHS‐Cnd peptide is able to impair biofilm formation and disaggregate mature biofilms in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates. Differences in extracellular metabolites reflect changes in biofilm metabolism due to KHS‐Cnd treatment. Among the differentially represented extracellular metabolites upon KHS‐Cnd treatment, the significantly altered ...
