A High Efficiency Nonisolated Buck–Boost Converter Based on ZETA Converter
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2020In this paper, a new transformerless buck–boost converter based on a ZETA converter is introduced. The proposed converter has the ZETA converter advantages, such as buck–boost capability, input-to-output dc insulation, and continuous output current. The suggested converter voltage gain is higher than the classic ZETA converter.

Matrix converters based on the Zeta topology
2015 IEEE 13th Brazilian Power Electronics Conference and 1st Southern Power Electronics Conference (COBEP/SPEC), 2015The article shows the derivation of a new matrix converters based on DC-DC Zeta converter, which aim to solve the problem of voltage gain, typical problem of this type of converters, which in the best case, is slightly higher than the unit. In a case study, obtained circuits are used as power conditioning block which is necessary to obtain a fixed ...

Zeta Mode Three-level AC/AC Converter
2009 Twenty-Fourth Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition, 2009A Zeta mode three-level AC/AC converter is proposed, the converter is available in high input voltages as well as in high power applications, and it also intended for use in applications where a sinusoidal output voltage of high quality is needed. It realizes the three-level voltage waveforms before output filter, which can get a better spectrum and ...

Bidirectional Zeta-Flyback Converter for Improved Efficiency
Journal of the Korean Society of Marine Engineering, 2012Abstract: In this paper, a bidirectional Zeta-Flyback converter is proposed. The topology of the proposed converter is analyzed, which is superposition of bidirectional Flyback converter mode and bidirectional Zeta converter mode in a cycle. The proposed converter allows power flow in either a forward direction or a backward direction.

ZETA converter applied in power factor correction
Proceedings of 1994 Power Electronics Specialist Conference - PESC'94, 2002This paper presents the analysis of the ZETA converter operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) for power factor correction. The main attraction of the ZETA converter is that it is a naturally isolated structure, which allows a regulated output voltage with only one power processing stage.

Modeling and control of a Zeta converter
The 2010 International Power Electronics Conference - ECCE ASIA -, 2010A Zeta converter is a fourth-order DC-DC converter made up of two inductors and two capacitors and capable of operating in either step-up or step-down mode. Compared with other converters in the same class, such as Cuk and SEPIC converters, the Zeta converter has received the least attention, and more importantly, its dynamic modeling and control have ...
