Polysaccharide zeta-potentials and protein-affinity
Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2017Theζ-potential, a parameter typically obtained by model-dependent transformation of the measured electrophoretic mobility, is frequently used to understand polysaccharide–protein complexation.

Cement and Concrete Research, 1985
Abstract Zeta-potential measurements provide new informations on cement hydration, gel structure formation and the effects of chemical admixtures. The formation and significance of a zeta-potential of cement in aqueous suspension is discussed with respect to the hydration of cement and some new data on the zeta-potential of cement and fly ash under ...

Apparatus for determination of zeta potentials from streaming potentials
Journal of Applied Physiology, 1963A system was developed to measure the streaming potential generated between the ends of a capillary by the flow of a fluid through the capillary. Zeta potential can be calculated from the streaming potential. Adequate sensitivity and reproducibility were achieved by making special electrodes: silver wires plated in KCl solution and embedded in agar ...

Electroosmotic Flows with Random Zeta Potential
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2002The hydrodynamic problem of electroosmotic flow in a cylindrical capillary with random zeta potential is solved in the limit of small Deybe length and low Reynolds number. Averages are defined over multiple experiments and the mean axial velocity is found to be a plug flow.
