Holomorphic effective potential in general chiral superfield model [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We study a holomorphic effective potential $W_{eff}(\Phi)$ in chiral superfield model defined in terms of arbitrary k\"{a}hlerian potential $K(\bar{\Phi},\Phi)$ and arbitrary chiral potential $W(\Phi)$.

Production of Silver Nanowires From Silver Nanoparticles by Thermal Treatment [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2016
Silver nanowires (Ag NWs) have been attracted much attention in recent years .view of the extensive its use in various fields. Ag NWs were successfully prepared by two steps firstly electrochemical method and heating secondly silver nanoparticles ...

Scaling laws for jets of single cavitation bubbles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Fast liquid jets, called micro-jets, are produced within cavitation bubbles experiencing an aspherical collapse. Here we review micro-jets of different origins, scales and appearances, and propose a unified framework to describe their dynamics by using ...

Experimental and Theoretical Studies of 1,3-diaminopropylene Derivatives as Potential Antioxidative Agents for Copper Nanoparticles in Hydrothermal System

open access: yesNano Biomedicine and Engineering, 2011
Novel 1,3-diamino-propylene derivatives as potential corrosion inhibitors for copper nanoparticles has been studied by density functional theory (DFT) calculations, Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), thermogravimetric and Zeta potential analysis.

Analysis of infrared optical polishing effluents and reduction of COD and TSS levels by ultrafiltration and coagulation/flocculation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Samples of polishing effluent produced during infrared optics manufacture were analyzed. Their particle size, composition, Zeta potential, chemical oxygen demand (COD), total suspended solids (TSS), and settleable solids were determined.

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

Electrokinetic Forces as an Electrical Measure of Chemical Aging Potential in Granular Materials

open access: yesChemEngineering, 2023
The zeta potential of soils is an electric potential in the double-layer interface and is a physical property exhibited by any particle related to electrochemical attractive forces.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Zeta potential control for electrophoresis cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
Zeta potential arises from fact that ions tend to be adsorbed on surface of cell walls. This potential interfaces with electric field sensed by migrating particles and degrades resolution of separation.

Combinatorial analogs of topological zeta functions

open access: yes, 2018
In this article we introduce a new matroid invariant, a combinatorial analog of the topological zeta function of a polynomial. More specifically we associate to any ranked, atomic meet-semilattice L a rational function Z(L,s), in such a way that when L ...
