Advanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.Trace water is acting as a constructive mediator in 2LiCl–GaF3, markedly increasing ionic conductivity while reorganizing local coordination. Hydration creates localized Li+ solvation environments and partially dissociates ion pairs, enhancing Li‐ion mobility.
