Probing into morphology evolution of magnesium ethoxide particles as precursor of Ziegler-Natta catalysts [PDF]
Mg(OEt)2 with spherical morphology is one of the most important precursors for the preparation of industrial Ziegler-Natta catalysts. In the present article, morphology evolution of Mg(OEt)2 particles is studied in the course of the synthesis.

Propylene‐ethylene copolymer covalent adaptable networks (PEC CANs) are synthesized via one‐step, radical‐based reactive processing with the use of initiator, dynamic cross‐linkers, and vinyl aromatic additives. The best CAN suppresses over 98% of creep at 100 °C (semicrystalline state) for 10,000 s compared to neat PEC.

A Practical Guide to Heterogeneous Catalysis in Hydrocarbon Transformations
A focused overview of the catalytic processing of hydrocarbons to transform them into more valuable compounds is presented. This work is intended to assist BSc, MSc, and PhD students, as well as junior researchers, in selecting and performing appropriate heterogeneous catalytic processes for specific heterogeneous catalytic reactions.

Water-accelerated organic transformations [PDF]
Rather than quenching all reactive intermediates and arresting the reaction, the addition of catalytic or stoichiometric (1-10 equiv.) quantities of H2O to organic and organometallic processes can lead to surprisingly beneficial effects on reaction rate,

This review discusses the progress of vapor‐deposited polymer structures, from simple thin films and surface microstructures to complex 3D architectures and monoliths. It covers fabrication methods, polymerization mechanisms, and processes for fabricating these structures. The applications of these polymers are discussed, focusing on device integration

Discovery and development of metallocene-based polyolefins with special properties [PDF]
Beside Ziegler-Natta and Phillips catalysts the development of methylaluminoxane (MAO) as cocatalyst in combination with metallocenes or other transition metal complexes for the polymerization of olefins has widely increased the possibilities in ...

50th Anniversary Perspective: Living Polymerization—Emphasizing the Molecule in Macromolecules [PDF]
The ideal of living polymerization has defined research in polymer chemistry over the past 50 years. In this Perspective, we present the case that this concept has enabled the treatment of polymers as organic molecules, rather than impure mixtures of ...

Half-titanocene 5-t-butyl-2-(1-(arylimino)methyl)quinolin-8-olate chlorides: Synthesis, characterization and ethylene (co-) polymerization behavior [PDF]
A series of half-titanocene chloride complexes bearing 5-t-butyl-2-(1-(arylimino)methyl)quinolin-8-olate ligands (L), CpTiLCl₂, has been synthesized in acceptable yields by the stoichiometric reaction of CpTiCl₃ with the respective potassium 5-t-butyl-2-(
