Exploring the complexities of cooperative breeding: insights from African wild dog packs

Across 14 years of monitoring African wild dog packs in Savé Valley Conservancy, Zimbabwe, we found that younger and larger packs were significantly more likely to produce multiple litters, with second‐born pups showing higher survival.
