Cholera in Zimbabwe

Cholera in Zimbabwe remains uncontrolled, with cholera-associated deaths continuing to be reported in 9 of the nation’s 10 provinces. In the 4 months since the outbreak began in August 2008, more than 35,000 suspected cases have been reported, including 1753 deaths. All provinces are affected but Harare sees almost one third of cases.
