Investigation of conductive thermal control coatings by a contactless method in vacuo [PDF]
A technique for determining the conductance per unit area of thermal control coatings for electrostatically clean spacecraft is described. In order to simulate orbital conditions more closely, current-density-voltage (j-V) curves are obtained by a ...

Performance of Close Anode Cathodic Protection System Applied to a Plane Metallic Grid [PDF]
In CP technique the negative shift in cathode potential determines the degree of protection against corrosion. This shift occurs by two mechanisms: the first is depression of cathode potential relative to electrolyte (Remote Anode Systems). The second is

Boosting effect of ultrasonication on the oxygen evolution reaction during zinc electrowinning
In this study, the electrochemical and anodic behaviors of Pb-Ag anodes during ultrasound-assisted zinc electrowinning were meticulously examined. The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) occurring at the Pb-Ag anodes in a 150 g L-1 aqueous H2SO4 solution was

Effect of surface roughness after pulse arc plasma treatment on current test of metal anodes
One of the ways to improve the performance of metal-air batteries (MAB) is to increase the specific surface area of the anodes. Significant progress in MAB technology has been achieved with metal anodes made of zinc and aluminum.
