Extreme Thermal Cycling of Anode‐Supported Microtubular Solid Oxide Fuel Cells Using a Novel Test Setup

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
A novel test setup is developed to perform extreme thermal cycling on microtubular solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The tested microtubular SOFC shows excellent tolerance to over 100 extreme thermal cycles at heating/cooling rates of ≈175/100 °C min−1.

Ruddlesden–Popper Structured Sr3Fe2O7−δ as Redox‐Activated CO2 Sorbents for Green Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
A‐site and B‐site doped strontium ferrite‐type Ruddlesden–Popper oxides are evaluated as CO2 sorbents for glycerol‐based hydrogen production via sorption‐enhanced steam reforming. A Sr1.4Ca0.6Fe0.9Ni0.1O4−δ composition forms an active Sr3Fe2O7 phase, achieving ≈95 vol% H2 purity and over sixfold longer CO2 prebreakthrough time (tpb) than its perovskite

Highly Efficient Classification of Time‐Series Based on Resistive Switching Cluster‐Assembled Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Cluster‐assembled nanocomposite devices are employed for the classification of neuronal traces, without any preprocessing of the input time‐series or prior training of the nonlinear devices. The classification method relies on the statistical analysis of the device's output time‐series, achieving higher classification accuracy compared to more energy ...
