Hyomen Kagaku, 1995 ホスホン酸化合物は4価の金属塩と反応し結晶性層状化合物を生成する。4価の金属塩としてジルコニウムを選び,分子設計したホスホン酸ジルコニウム誘導体について新たな機能性材料としての応用性を検討した。ホスホン酸ジルコニウム(組成式:Zr(O3P-R)2)は,ジルコニウム原子によって形成された平面の上下に,リン酸基四面体が規則正しく配列した構造からなる層状化合物である。この化合物には層間内にさまざまな官能基を導入できるという特徴があり,その導入された官能基の種類によって層間距離を制御したり,酸性や疎水性などの機能を付与することが可能である。また,単一の官能基だけでなく異なる種類の官能基を同時に導入することにより,複数の機能を与えることも可能である。本稿では,ホスホン酸ジルコニウム誘導体の構造ならびに触媒材料,
