The Potential of ZnO Nanoparticles to Reduce Water Consuming in Iranian Heavy Oil Reservoir [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Water and Environmental Nanotechnology, 2016
Water is critically important, because its supply is under stress. In oil fields, the ratio-of-water-to-oil (WCUT%) can be 95% or higher. Managing this produced water is a great challenge whereas the best opportunity to reduce costs, improve ...

Ellipsometrically determination of the optical constants of ZnO in ZnO/Ag/ZnO multilayer system

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal Applied Physics, 2008
The variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometer in conjunction with computer simulation were employed to determine the optical constants of ZnO in the ZnO/Ag/ZnO (ZAZ) multilayer system. A five-phase, glass/ZnO/Ag/ZnO/air, model was used to fit the calculated data to the experimental spectra.
