Magnetic coupling properties of mn-doped ZnO nanowires: First-principles calculations

open access: yes, 2008
Based on the density functional theory, we study the magnetic coupling properties of Mn-doped ZnO nanowires. For the nanowires with passivated surfaces, the antiferromagnetic state is found and the Mn atoms have a clustering tendency.
