Dual Host–Pathogen Screening of the Lung During Severe Influenza Using Spatial Transcriptomics
Immunology &Cell Biology, EarlyView.We performed genome‐wide spatial transcriptomics at 10 μm resolution on the lungs of mice infected with influenza A virus. We utilised publicly available scRNAseq reference datasets to identify cell types present. We found viral transcripts across all detected cell types, suggesting localised indiscriminate infection.

Immunology, EarlyView.Unlike generalized mTOR inhibitors, Torin‐1 uniquely drives compensatory upregulation of TIM‐3 on human NK cells, shielding them from immunosuppression while concurrently inhibiting glioblastoma (GBM) growth. Selecting or preconditioning ex vivo NK cell products for high TIM‐3 expression can offer a combination strategy for adoptive cell therapy in GBM.
