A Logical Product Approach to Zonotope Intersection [PDF]
We define and study a new abstract domain which is a fine-grained combination of zonotopes with polyhedric domains such as the interval, octagon, linear templates or polyhedron domain.

In this paper is described a diagram technique for zonotopes, or vector sums of line segments, which is analogous to that of Gale diagrams for general polytopes, and central diagrams for centrally symmetric polytopes. The use of these new zonal diagrams leads to relationships between zonotopes with n n zones of dimensions d

Robust adaptive tube tracking model predictive control for piece‐wise constant reference signals
Abstract Robust tracking of piece‐wise constant reference signals for constrained systems with parametric plant uncertainty and additive disturbances is addressed in this paper. The parametric uncertainty is decreased online by set‐membership estimation and a nominal model is updated for improving set‐point tracking.

$h^\ast $-polynomials of zonotopes [PDF]
The Ehrhart polynomial of a lattice polytope $P$ encodes information about the number of integer lattice points in positive integral dilates of $P$. The $h^\ast$-polynomial of $P$ is the numerator polynomial of the generating function of its Ehrhart polynomial. A zonotope is any projection of a higher dimensional cube.

Geometric bijections between spanning subgraphs and orientations of a graph
Abstract Let G$G$ be a connected finite graph. Backman, Baker, and Yuen have constructed a family of explicit and easy‐to‐describe bijections between spanning trees of G$G$ and (σ,σ∗)$(\sigma ,\sigma ^*)$‐compatible orientations, where the (σ,σ∗)$(\sigma ,\sigma ^*)$‐compatible orientations are the representatives of equivalence classes of orientations

Multiprimary displays reproduce colors by using combinations of four or more lights that are referred to as primaries. A display control vector defines the relative intensities of the primaries and determines the rendered color. For multiprimary displays,

Abstract To solve the problem of state estimation for systems with dual noise terms, a zonotope and Gaussian Kalman filters based state estimation algorithm is proposed. A state estimator is designed to obtain the estimation interval of the true state in the presence of both stochastic and unknown but bounded (UBB) uncertainties.

A Definition of Type Domain of a Parallelotope
Each convex polytope P = P(α) can be described by a set of linear inequalities determined by vectors p and right hand sides α(p). For a fixed set of vectors p, a type domain D(P₀) of a polytope P₀ and, in particular, of a parallelotope P₀ is defined as a

Abstract In this paper, the sensor fault detection (FD) problem is investigated for the dynamic point‐the‐bit rotary steerable system (DPRSS), which is known as state‐of‐the‐art oil drilling equipment. Firstly, the DPRSS dynamic is modelled as a linear system with drilling disturbances, which consists of model perturbations, measurement disturbances ...

Classification of Vertex-Transitive Zonotopes [PDF]
AbstractWe give a full classification of vertex-transitive zonotopes. We prove that a vertex-transitive zonotope is a $$\Gamma $$ Γ -permutahedron for some finite reflection group $$\Gamma \subset {{\,\mathrm{O}\,}}(\mathbb {R}^d)$$ Γ ⊂
