Toxoplasma gondii‐secreted protein with an altered thrombospondin repeat was computationally characterised as an immunogenic, non‐allergenic protein carrying multiple B‐ and T‐cell epitopes. Structural validation and immune simulation suggest its strong potential as a vaccine candidate against toxoplasmosis.

ABSTRACT Over the years, numerous D‐ and z‐values have been published in the scientific literature. While these values initially appear to be valid criteria for assessing and comparing the heat resistance of different microorganisms under the same conditions or the same microorganism under different conditions, this is not always the case.

ABSTRACT The ongoing invasion of the zoonotic parasite Angiostrongylus cantonensis threatens humans, other mammals, and birds. In Mallorca, neurological disorders associated with this parasite are increasingly reported in free‐living Algerian hedgehogs, Atelerix algirus, raising public health concerns.

ABSTRACT Consumers’ demand for fresh produce is rising due to dietary preferences and public health campaigns. Fresh produce is often consumed raw or minimally processed to retain nutrient content. If contaminated, fresh produce can become a vehicle for pathogen transmission and potentially cause outbreaks.

Characterisation of a Novel Jumbo Lytic Aeromonas dhakensis Bacteriophage P19 and Its Endolysin
A jumbo, lytic myovirus phage P19 against multidrug‐resistant (MDR) Aeromonas dhakensis was isolated from river water. P19 demonstrated robust lytic activity, high thermal and pH stability (pH 6–10, up to 60°C), and no genes associated with lysogeny, virulence or antimicrobial resistance. ORF_358 of P19 encodes for T4‐type lysozyme.
