Disease‐Stage Synchronized Nanozyme Therapy for Polymicrobial Sepsis through Adaptive Catalytic and Immune Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A disease‐stage synchronized nanozyme platform is developed to treat polymicrobial sepsis by adapting its functions to changing infection environments. The system eliminates multidrug‐resistant bacteria during early infection while reducing inflammation and restoring immune balance during recovery, providing an integrated strategy for infection control

Artificial Grain Boundaries Created by Freestanding Membrane Transfer Reveal Angle‐Dependent Ferroelectric Switching and Leakage in BaTiO3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Artificial grain boundaries are created in BaTiO3$\text{BaTiO}_3$ thin films by freestanding membrane transfer, enabling direct isolation of a single boundary. Local ferroelectric switching and leakage are found to concentrate at the grain boundary, while increasing misorientation systematically enhances conduction.

Switching Spike Plasticity Shapes ACE2 Engagement Across SARS‐CoV‐2 Variants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conformational plasticity governs SARS‐CoV‐2 spike function and ACE2 recognition. Using high‐speed AFM and single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we analyzed the ancestral spike and nine variants, revealing progressive rigidification from Delta, variable plasticity in Omicron sublineages, and JN.1 compaction.

Bidirectional Soft Catalysts for Improved Power Performance of Li‐S Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A soft polymer‐metal catalyst is integrated into the binder to create a catalytically active microenvironment that accelerates bidirectional sulfur redox kinetics in lithium‐sulfur batteries. A model polyvinyl alcohol‐Cu catalyst enables high areal capacities at demanding current densities and stable cycling in pouch‐cell prototypes at 0.5 C, achieving
