Microstructure of Zr-alloyed coating using pulsed laser
Coatings were synthesized by laser alloying of zirconium (Zr) particles using a pulsed Nd:YAG laser on an austenite stainless steel. The distribution of Zr is uneven, in a depth of 18 mum just below the surface of the pool.

Decoding Synergistic Pathways in Bimetallic MOFs for Advanced Oxidation Processes
This review presents a unified framework linking metal pairing and framework design with electronic structure, redox cycling, oxidant activation, reactive‐species generation, and catalytic performance across photocatalytic and oxidant‐based BMOF‐AOPs. The resulting design principles guide the development of hydrolytically stable and efficient BMOFs for

Ti-Doping Activates Adjacent Zr Sites in Bimetallic MOFs for Cooperative Phospholipid Removals in Human Biomonitoring. [PDF]
Ti‐doped Zr/Ti bimetallic MOFs activate neighboring Zr sites to selectively capture phospholipids from serum through cooperative interactions. In nontargeted screening, the material minimizes matrix interference, expands detectable feature coverage, and enables broad recovery of diverse chemical hazards, providing a powerful cleanup strategy for LC ...
