Hierarchical MnOx/ZSM-5 as Heterogeneous Catalysts in Conversion of Delignified Rice Husk to Levulinic Acid

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2019
Hierarchical ZSM-5 zeolite was synthesized using a double template method using TPAOH and PDDA as templates, while microporous ZSM-5 was also prepared using only TPAOH as a template. The syntheses then were followed by impregnation with Mn(II) c.a. 2 wt.%

Production of C3+ Olefins and Propylene from Ethanol by Zr-Modified H-ZSM-5 Zeolite Catalysts

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2012
Ethanol conversion to C3+ olefins, especially propylene, using Zr-modified H-ZSM-5 catalysts was investigated. Zr-modification to H-ZSM-5 zeolite could improve the initial yield of C3+ olefins and propylene and could reduce the initial yield of ethylene.

The Surface-to-volume Ratio of the Synthesis Reactor Vessel Governing the Low Temperature Crystallization of ZSM-5

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical and Fundamental Sciences, 2016
Zeolite ZSM-5 is one of major catalysts in petroleum and fine-chemical industries. The synthesis of zeolite ZSM-5 is usually carried out at high temperature above 100 °C using the immense amount of organic structure-directing agents (OSDA).

Ion Exchange of Na+ Ions with H+ Ions on ZSM-5 Zeolite Using Acetic Acid

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings
ZSM-5 zeolites are primarily used in acid-catalyzed hydrocracking reactions in the petrochemical industry, and it is very important to ensure an adequate number of acidic sites for more efficient catalytic activity.

Use of chitin as a template for the preparation of mesostructured ZSM-5

open access: yesCerâmica
In this work, mesostructured ZSM-5 zeolite was prepared using chitin as a new template to produce mesoporosity. Different amounts of chitin were used for the synthesis of ZSM-5 in order to verify its influence on the formation of mesopores.

Diffusion of a hydrocarbon mixture in a one-dimensional zeolite channel: an exclusion model approach

open access: yes, 2009
Zeolite channels can be used as effective hydrocarbon traps. Earlier experiments (Czaplewski {\sl et al.}, 2002) show that the presence of large aromatic molecules (toluene) block the diffusion of light hydrocarbon molecules (propane) inside the narrow ...

Sintesis ZSM-5 dari Fly Ash Sawit dengan Variasi Waktu Sintesis dan Waktu Kalsinasi [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Fly ash contains many elements of the high silica used as a source of silica for the synthesis of ZSM-5. ZSM-5 zeolite synthesis is one that is widely used in industry mainly as a catalyst.
