Implementation of a new ZVS DC/DC converter to extend ZVS range
TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference, 2015A novel zero-voltage switching (ZVS) converter is studied in this paper. The proposed converter consists a three-level converter and a LLC converter with same active switches to have wide ZVS load range and to reduce conduction losses at freewheeling interval. Series resonant converter with fixed switching frequency is adopted to improve ZVS load range

A novel approach for achieving ZVS operation in class-D ZVS inverter
2017 IEEE 12th International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems (PEDS), 2017This paper presents a novel approach to fulfill the zero-current switching (ZVS) operation of the class-D ZVS inverter by utilizing the anti-parallel diode of transistor actively which enables a switching-timing allowance to be produced. The switching-timing allowance of the class-D ZVS inverter at any duty ratio is derived.

A ZVS-PWM inverter using a simple ZVS-PWM auxiliary commutation pole
2011 6th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications, 2011A new zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) single-phase inverter using a simple ZVS-PWM auxiliary commutation pole is presented in this paper. Except for the auxiliary switches, all active and passive semiconductor devices in the ZVS-PWM single-phase inverter operate at ZVS turn on and turn off. The auxiliary switches operate at zero-

A ZVS-PWM Single-Phase Inverter Using a Simple ZVS-PWM Commutation Cell
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2008A new zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) single-phase inverter using a simple ZVS-PWM commutation cell is presented in this paper. Except for the auxiliary switches, all switching devices in the ZVS-PWM single-phase inverter operate at ZVS turn on and turn off.

A novel ZVS direct coupling converter (DCC)
PESC Record. 27th Annual IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2002A novel DC-DC power converter with a ZVS topology is introduced. An amplitude modulated squarewave train is generated and the output can be controlled by the amplitude of this squarewave train. As energy is directly transferred to the output, it is known as a direct coupling converter (DCC).

A ZVS Grid-Connected Full-Bridge Inverter With a Novel ZVS SPWM Scheme
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2016A zero-voltage switching (ZVS) grid-connected full-bridge inverter and its modulation schemes are investigated. A novel sinusoidal pulse width modulation scheme for the ZVS full-bridge inverter (ZVS SPWM) is proposed in this paper. The ZVS SPWM is evolved from the double-frequency SPWM by adding gate drive to the auxiliary switch.

ZVS of Power MOSFETs Revisited
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2016Aiming for converters with high efficiency and high power density demands converter topologies with zero-voltage switching (ZVS) capabilities. This letter shows that in order to determine whether ZVS is provided at a given operating point, the stored charge within the mosfet s has to be considered and the condition $L I^2 \geq 2Q_\text{oss} V_\text{

ZVS Boost Converter with Wide ZVS Range
2011A zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) boost converter with wide ZVS range is proposed in this paper. A ripple-free cell is added to a conventional two-switch boost converter. The ripple-free cell provides a ripple-free input current and ZVS operation of two switches. Due to the ZVS feature, the switching loss is significantly reduced.

An Improved ZVS PWM Three-Level Converter
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2004This paper proposes an improved zero-voltage-switching pulse-width-modulation three-level converter (ZVS PWM TLC), which is improved from the original ZVS PWM TLC just by exchanging the position of the resonant inductor and the transformer, such that the transformer is connected with the lagging switches.

A Novel ZVS-PWM Single-Phase Inverter Using a Voltage Clamp ZVS Boost DC Link
2007 2nd IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications, 2007A novel zero-voltage-switching pulse-width-modulation (ZVS-PWM) single-phase inverter using a voltage clamp ZVS boost dc link is proposed in this paper. The proposed voltage clamp ZVS boost dc link not only provides the switches in the section of conventional PWM buck inverter operate at ZVS, but it has a boost input voltage function and the switches ...
