Abstract
Neoplasms of the largyngeal cartilage are surprisingly rare in spite of the considerable bulk of that tissue. Almost all the tumours are derived from and are composed of hyaline cartilage. Metaplastic formations of elastic cartilage in the soft tissues of the larynx are considered separately in this chapter.
