Abstract
This chapter deals with the “nuts and bolts” of a research project, the management of research data. The main purpose is to introduce a number of concepts and principles, and to provide practical illustrations of some data management procedures. Although jargon will be avoided, some attention to terminology is necessary to clarify basic ideas.
