Abstract

Section 177 of the Enforcement Act 1915 (‘tvangsfullbyrdelsesloven’) provides:

’The holder of a lien right (‘panterett’) in a ship may, after due date, in case of default, seek satisfaction by forced sale by auction ... or forced operation ... of the ship, but not in any other manner.
