Abstract:

Two types of optical ring resonators and implications for tactical-grade RMOGs are investigated. One is a 2.5 cm diameter silica waveguide ring resonator, and the other is a 60 cm long optical fiber ring resonator. Performance evaluation is completed and the results are presented.
