The dataset contains information on cognitive scores, home observation scores, sociodemographic information, illness history, and nutritional status of 163 5-year-old children who participated in the home-observation sub-study of the Entebbe Mother and Baby Study (EMABS). The purpose of the sub-study was to investigate the role of the home environment on neurocognitive function of children in a low income setting.
Additional Information
The EMABS Home Observation data is restricted to comply with the study's ethical commitment to ensure data is used for legitimate research (as evidenced by appropriate ethics approval) and protect the confidentiality of study participants. Access requests will be reviewed by a Data Access Committee consisting of Margaret Nampijja, Alison Elliott and Ayoub Kakande, with additional support provided by LSHTM Research Data Manager. If the proposed use complies with the study ethics permissions, users will be asked to sign a Data Sharing Agreement and subsequently provided with the dataset.
