본 연구는 충동행동을 지닌 선택적 함묵증아에게 행동수정을 적용한 미술치료와 그리기매체를 사용하여 자기표현과 또래관계에 향상이 있는가를 보고자 하였다. 대상 아동은 5세 여아와 7세 여아이었고, 미술치료 프로그램은 주 1회 50분씩 16회기를 실시하였다. 선택적 함묵증아의 자기표현은 회기과정에서의 자기표현 변화, 자기표현질문지의 변화를 보았고, 또래관계변화는 회기과정에서의 또래관계 변화, 또래관계질문지 변화, KSD의 변화를 보았다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 행동수정적용 미술치료와 그리기매체를 활용한 미술치료가 충동-선택적 함묵증아의 자기표현에 효과가 있었다. 회기과정에서 느낌, 생각, 현실직면, 행동에 대한 자기표현이 나타났고, 자기표현점수가 향상되었다. 둘째, 행동수정적용 미술치료와 그리기매체를 활용한 미술치료가 또래관계에 효과가 있었다. 회기과정에서 또래관계의 변화가 있었고, 또래관계점수가 향상되었으며, KSD도 변화되었다.
This study examined the effects of art therapy based on behavior modification & painting on self-expression and peer relationships of child with selective mutism & impulsivity. The subjects were 5 aged girl & 9 aged girl. Art therapy had been conducted once a week for 16 weeks, and each session lasted 50 minutes. The changes of self-expression & peer relations during the sessions and the inventory on self-expression & peer relations were used to verify the effect. Also KSD was used. The major findings of the study were as follows. First, art therapy was effective intervention in enhancing self-expression. The subjects showed self expression in their feeling, thoughts, confrontation, behavior during the sessions. And there were changes in the inventory on self-expression. Second, art therapy program was effective intervention in improving the peer relationships. There were changes during the sessions. And there were changes in the inventory on peer relationships and KSD.
