Objective: to describe the obstetric outcomes in patients with an active induction of labor (IOL). Methods: 1037 deliveries were included. In case of IOL, women with unfavorable cervix (Bishop≤6) start with 2 tablets of 25mcg vaginal misoprostol followed by a new tablet every 4 hours up to a maximum of 4 doses.
