The immunolocalization of HIF‐2α, GLUT1 and CAIX in porcine oviduct during the estrous cycle
Abstract Oxygen (O2) rates in the oviduct are essential to human and animal reproduction. These rates are regulated by the activity of hypoxia markers such as the hypoxia‐inducible factors (HIFs), the glucose transporters (GLUT), and the carbonic anhydrase (CA).

Abstract Objective Pre‐eclampsia (PE) and small for gestational age (SGA) can be predicted from the first trimester. The most widely used algorithm worldwide is the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) algorithm. The recently described Gaussian algorithm has reported excellent results although it is unlikely to be externally validated.

Dietary yolk supplementation decreases rates of yolk deposition in Japanese quail
Dietary supplementation with egg yolk decreases the rate of yolk deposition in quail. Quail with high body condition indices deposit yolk more slowly. Abstract Generation of egg yolk by birds requires the synthesis and deposition of large amounts of protein and lipid, and is often accompanied by the incorporation of additional physiological mediators ...

Effects of energy balance on follicular development and first ovulation in postpartum dairy cows.
As milk production has increased during the past four decades, conception rates in lactating cows have declined. Although reduced reproductive performance has been associated with high milk yields, measures of postpartum ovarian activity have been more ...

Abstract With the advancement of single‐cell separation techniques and high‐throughput sequencing platforms, single‐cell RNA‐sequencing (scRNA‐seq) has emerged as a vital technology for understanding tissue and organ systems at cellular resolution. Through transcriptional analysis, it is possible to characterize unique or rare cell types, interpret ...
