Spatial anxiety mediates the sex difference in adult mental rotation test performance
Mental rotation ability is associated with successful advances in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education and occupations. Meta-analyses have shown consistent sex disparities in mental rotation, where men outperform women on ...

Experimental but not Sex Differences of a Mental Rotation Training Program on Adolescents
Given the importance of visuospatial processing in areas related to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines, where there is still a considerable gap in the area of sex differences, the interest in the effects of ...

Zermelo's navigation problem for some special surfaces of rotation
In this paper, we investigate Zermelo's navigation problem for some special rotation surfaces. In this respect, we find some Randers-type metrics for these rotation surfaces. Furthermore, we get the H-distortion for the metric induced by surfaces.

Central rotation of regular (and irregular) musical poligons [PDF]
The text describes the application of one of the most important isometric transformations to the projected metro-rhythmic entities of individual harmonics of the spectrum. It is a direct isometry called central rotation.

A Mathematical Programming Model for Vegetable Rotations [PDF]
AbstractRotations have historically been used to alleviate pest problems in crop production. This paper considers methods of modeling rotations in linear programming models for Southeastern vegetable production. In such models, entering each possible crop rotation as a separate activity can be burdensome because of the large numbers of possible ...

Associations and indirect effects between LEGO® construction and mathematics performance.
There is a known association between LEGO® construction ability and mathematics achievement, yet the mechanisms which drive this association are largely unknown. This study investigated the spatial mechanisms underlying this association, and whether this
