QLBT: a linear Boltzmann transport model for heavy quarks in a quark-gluon plasma of quasi-particles
We develop a new heavy quark transport model, QLBT, to simulate the dynamical propagation of heavy quarks inside the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions.

Quark mass density- and temperature- dependent model for bulk strange quark matter [PDF]
It is shown that the quark mass density-dependent model can not be used to explain the process of the quark deconfinement phase transition because the quark confinement is permanent in this model.

The non-Gaussian fluctuations of baryon density are sensitive to the presence of the conjectured QCD critical point. Their observational consequences are crucial for the ongoing experimental search for this critical point through the beam energy scan ...

Quark motional effects on the interquark potential in baryons [PDF]
We study the heavy-heavy-light quark ($QQq$) system in a non-relativistic potential model, and investigate the quark motional effect on the inter-two-quark potential in baryons.

When heavy nuclei collide, a quark-gluon plasma is formed. The plasma is subject to strong electric field due to the charge of the colliding nuclei. The electric field can influence the behavior of the quark-gluon plasma. In particular, we might observe an increased number of quarks moving in the direction of that field, as we do in the standard ...

Spectral function of quarks in quark matter [PDF]
We investigate the spectral function of light quarks in infinite quark matter using a simple, albeit self-consistent model. The interactions between the quarks are described by the SU(2) Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model. Currently mean field effects are neglected and all calculations are performed in the chirally restored phase at zero temperature.

Thermodynamics and energy loss in D dimensions from holographic QCD model
We consider the holographic QCD model with a planar horizon in the D dimensions with different consistent metric solutions. We investigate the black hole thermodynamics, phase diagram and equations of state (EoS) in different dimensions.

Top quark decays into heavy quark mesons [PDF]
For top quark decays into heavy quark mesons $ $ and $\bar{B}_c^*$ , a complete calculation to the leading order both in QCD coupling constant $ _s$ and in $v$, the typical velocity of the heavy quarks inside the mesons, is performed. Relatons between the top quark mass and the decay branching ratios are studied.
