Investigating zeta‐cypermethrin resistance stability in California Drosophila suzukii populations [PDF]

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 7, Page 6808-6816, July 2026.
After continuous selection and removal of selection pressure in spotted‐wing Drosophila, zeta‐cypermethrin resistance remained stable over several generations. Following a population bottleneck, zeta‐cypermethrin resistance increased without selection, highlighting the importance of insecticide rotation.

Statement on MRLs for alpha‐cypermethrin and screening of the existing EU MRLs for cypermethrin

open access: yesEFSA Journal
Abstract In accordance with Article 43 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the European Commission requested EFSA to prepare a statement on the maximum residue level (MRL) proposals for alpha‐cypermethrin and to perform a screening of the existing MRLs for cypermethrins based on the toxicological reference values of alpha‐cypermethrin. Effects of dietary cypermethrin on chickens

open access: yesActa veterinaria, 2013
In the following study effects of dietary cypermethrin in chickens were observed. Chickens were administered cypermethrin in the feed in nominal concentrations of 150, 300 and 600 ppm (mean measured concentrations: 130, 285 and 655 mg/kg feed) for a period of 28 days.

Toxicity of cypermethrin on growth, pigments, and superoxide dismutase of Scenedesmus obliquus

open access: yes, 2005
Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid that is particularly toxic to crustaceans. It is therefore applied as a chemotherapeutant in farms for the treatment of pests.

Urinary Cypermethrin Metabolites among Conventional and Organic Farmers in Thailand

open access: yes, 2023
Cypermethrin, a pyrethroid insecticide, is frequently spread on agricultural farmlands and is also used in households in Thailand. Conventional pesticide-using farmers (n = 209) were recruited from the Phitsanulok and Nakornsawan provinces.
