Chemoresistance is often linked to elevated DNA repair. MPP8 is found to promote breast cancer chemoresistance as a novel NHEJ accessory factor independent of its epigenetic functions. Through multiple protein interactions, MPP8 facilitates association of DNAPK and ligase complexes to promote DNA repair progression.

Optical Access to Dark Excitons Via Spin–Phonon Fano Interference
Dark excitons in quantum dots neither absorb nor emit light and stay hidden from optical spectroscopy. Quantum interference now reveals them: light scattered by acoustic phonons interferes with a phonon‐assisted spin flip between bright and dark exciton, carving a Fano dip into the spectrum whose position gives the bright–dark splitting. Magnetic field,

AI‐EXAFS: Physics‐Informed Prediction of EXAFS from Atomic Structure
AI‐EXAFS presents a neural network to reproduce EXAFS. Trained on synthetic data and with a careful selection of the settings both for the physical representation of the system and following the experimental heuristic loss functions, the model is capable of reproducing EXAFS spectra for molecules from the tridimensional structure.

Postoperative arteriovenous fistulas exhibit increased RBMS1 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). In experimental AVFs, RBMS1 overexpression aggravates, whereas deletion attenuates, neointimal hyperplasia. RBMS1 binds MPZL1 mRNA and promotes exon 5 skipping to generate MPZL1‐Δ5, which interacts with G3BP1 to activate AKT, driving VSMC proliferation,
