Systemic effects of intraligamental injections

Journal of Endodontics, 1986
Using a pistol-grip syringe, 0.3 ml of normal saline solution, 2% lidocaine with and without 1:100,000 epinephrine, 3% mepivicaine, and 1:100,000 epinephrine alone were injected into large adult dogs. The intravenous, intraosseous, intrapulpal, subcutaneous, periodontal, intramuscular, and submucosal routes were used.

Injection System. Part II—Injection Optics

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1953
The injection optical system, through which the 3.6-Mev proton beam from the Van de Graaff accelerator enters the Cosmotron, consists primarily of a deflecting magnet and an electrostatic inflector in which the beam is deflected through angles of 25° and 30°, respectively.

The PEP Injection System

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1975
A system to transport 10-to-15-GeV electron and positron beams from the Stanford Linear Accelerator and to inject them into the PEP storage ring under a wide variety of lattice configurations has been designed. Optically, the transport line consists of three 360° phase-shift sections of FODO lattice, with bending magnets interspersed in such a way as ...

An injection system for CHEER

Canadian Journal of Physics, 1981
The injection system for CHEER must provide 34 bunches of 1011 electrons. We describe here a system consisting of a linear accelerator, accumulator–buncher ring, and a booster ring which can inject such bunches at 2 GeV into the main CHEER ring in an acceptably short time.

INJECTION SYSTEM

2007
Injection system with closing rod (2) provided with a cleaning device (6, 7, 8) suitable for removing the powder of molten plastic that builds up in the movement areas of the closing rod (2) , in particular in the thrust bearing (3), during the normal operation of a molding machine.

Corrosion in Injection Systems

2019
Reservoir management of hydrocarbon resources and increased production are among the key challenges facing the hydrocarbon production industry sector. These invariably necessitate the use of water and/or gas injection to maintain or increase reservoir pressure in response to a decline in natural lift and to enhance recovery as well as emission control,

A Micro-injection System

Journal of Cell Science, 1954
ABSTRACT The apparatus works by the thermal expansion of water. The water is contained in a fine, thick-walled capillary tube, one end of which is made into a micro-pipette. The other extremity, which is closed, is heated over varying lengths by warm water in order to obtain the required change in the volume of the water by thermal ...
