The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

A numerical investigation of constant-volume non-Boussinesq density currents [PDF]
The time-dependent behaviour of non-Boussinesq high-Reynolds-number density currents of density ρc, released from a lock of height h₀ and length x₀ into a ambient of height H and density ρₐ, is considered. We use two dimensional Navier-Stokes simulations

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

A generalized q-numerical range
For a given $q \in \kom$ with $|q| \le 1$, we study the $C$-numerical range of a Hilbert space operator where $C$ is an operator of the form \[ \left( \begin{array}{ccc} qI_n & \sqrt{1-|q|^2}I_n \\ 0_n & 0_n \end{array} \right) \oplus 0.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

An effective method for the determination of the locking range of an injection-locked frequency divider [PDF]
The paper proposes a methodology for the determination of the locking range of an Injection-Locked Frequency Divider. The technique involves the use of the Warped Multi-time scale model and is applicable to oscillators in general.

C*-Convexity and the Numerical Range
If A is a prime C*-algebra, a ∈ A and λ is in the numerical range W(a) of a, then for each ε > 0 there exists an element h ∈ A such that . If λ is an extreme point of W(a), the same conclusion holds without the assumption that A is prime.

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

The numerical range and the essential numerical range
A simple proof is given of Lancaster’s theorem that the convex hull of the numerical and essential numerical ranges of a Hilbert space operator is the closure of the numerical range.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.
