Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

(p,q)-Baskakov-Kantorovich Operators

open access: yes, 2016
In the last decade the applications of quantum calculus in the field of approximation theory is an active area of research. The (p,q)-calculus is further extension of q-calculus, which provides a new direction for researchers.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

The Complex Line (P, Q)-Integral And (P, Q)-Green's Formula

open access: yes, 2023
In this study, we present the complex line (p, q)-integral and multiple (p, q)-integral by using the concept of (p, q)-calculus. The (p, q)-Green's formula and the (p, q)-Gauss formulas are obtained with appropriate conditions in a complex ...

Gama Tipi Operatörün (p, q)-tamsayı İkililerine Dayalı Yaklaşım Özellikleri [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
In the literature; extensive work on the q and (p,q)-calculus has contributed greatly to describing the different generalizations of many operators involving the q and (p,q)-integers.

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Estimates for Certain Integral Inequalities on (p, q)-calculus

open access: yes, 2020
The aim of this paper is to derive a new quantum analogue of an integral identity by using (p, q)-calculus. As a consequence of this identity, some new estimates for Ostrowski type inequality for (p, q)- differentiable η-convex and η-quasi-convex

Relations Between the Fractional Operators in q-Calculus

open access: yes, 2020
In this survey paper, we will consider the fractional operators in q-calculus. Starting from the fractional versions of q-Pochhammer symbol, we generalize the notions of the fractional q-integral and q-derivative by introducing variable lower bound of ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
