Environmental Quality Management, Volume 35, Issue 4, Summer 2026.We meta‐analyzed 10 studies to assess whether influent flow rate affects SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA detection in wastewater treatment plants serving ≤60,000 inhabitants. The pooled odds ratio (2.08; 95% CI: 0.994–37; p = 0.053) showed no significant association between flow rate and detection probability.

Animal–Plant Interactions Under Defaunation: Consequences for Amazonian Trees of Commercial Interest
Biotropica, Volume 58, Issue 2, March 2026.We experimentally investigated the effects of medium‐ and large‐sized mammal defaunation on the removal and fate of seeds from economically important forest species in Amazonian forests. Our results show that mammal exclusion significantly reduced seed removal, although the magnitude of this effect varied among plant species.
