Transport Matters: The Critical Role of the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER) in Accelerating Electrochemical Nitrate to Ammonia Conversion. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
A porous cobalt‐based metal‐oxide foam catalyst is synthesized using the DHBT technique, followed by calcination. It demonstrates exceptional activity for e‐NO3RR, reaching near‐unity ammonia selectivity at low overpotentials. Dynamic surface area changes due to NO3‐ depletion are mitigated by “self‐convection” during hydrogen evolution.

Effects of fascial manipulation, vibration exercise, motor imagery, or neuro-muscular electrical stimulation on the coagulation system: A pilot study. [PDF]

open access: yesPhysiol Rep
Abstract Available evidence suggests that various medical/rehabilitation treatments evoke multiple effects on blood hemostasis. It was therefore the aim of our study to examine whether fascial manipulation, vibration exercise, motor imagery, or neuro‐muscular electrical stimulation can activate the coagulation system, and, thereby, expose patients to ...

Efficacy of various concentrations of synthetic hormones on the induced breeding of Channa marulius (Sole)

open access: yesJournal of the World Aquaculture Society, Volume 54, Issue 1, Page 143-155, February 2023., 2023
Abstract A study was conducted to determine the artificial breeding response, embryonic and larval development of giant snakehead, Channa marulius, with the application of various dosages of stimulatory hormones: Suprefact® (LHRH) agonist and Ovaprim® (GnRH + dopamine inhibitor). First and second hormonal dosages of Suprefact® (diluted) and Ovaprim® (0.

Genetic Diversity and Phylogeography of Taenioides cirratus in Five Geographical Populations Based on Mitochondrial COI and Cytb Gene Sequences

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ichthyology, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
The genetic diversity of Taenioides cirratus was investigated on the basis of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) and cytochrome b (Cytb) gene sequences. A total of 159 specimens collected from the Chaohu Lake (CL), Nansihu Lake (NL), Taihu Lake (TL), Pearl River (PR), and Nandu River (NR) were sequenced. The total length of the sequence
