Through integrated morphological and molecular analysis, a specimen from Yunnan, China, is identified as a distinct new species, C. wandingensis sp. nov., supported by significant genetic divergence from its closest relatives.

Respirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.We report a case of multiple intralobar pulmonary sequestration coexisting with situs inversus totalis in a patient who presented to the emergency department with acute onset haemoptysis. The perioperative management was notably challenging due to the presence of an aberrant feeding artery and the atypical anatomical orientation of the lesions.
