This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Study of LGB gene polymorphisms of small ruminants reared in Eastern Europe
The objectives of the current research were: (i) to determine the allele and genotype frequencies of the LGB gene in the sheep and goat breeds reared in Eastern Europe; (ii) to implement a comparative study in order to evaluate the milk production ...

Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Determination of water-insoluble β-D-glucan in the whole-grain cereals and pseudocereals
Water-insoluble β-(1,3)-D-glucan (lichenan) was determined in 43 samples of various cereal (oats, barley, wheat, millet) and pseudocereal (buckwheat, amaranth) cultivars using a modified procedure with fungal α-amylase (Fermizyme P 300).

Integration of circadian and hypoxia signaling via non‐canonical heterodimerization
CLOCK, BMAL1, and HIFs are basic helix‐loop‐helix and Per‐Arnt‐Sim domain (bHLH‐PAS) proteins, which function as transcription factors. bHLH‐PAS proteins are designated in two classes. Many class I proteins are regulated by environmental signals via their PAS domains, but such signals have not been identified for all.

β-Lactoglobulin (β-LG) is the dominant non-casein whey protein found in milk of bovine and of most ruminants. The amino acid sequence of β-LG along with its 3-dimensional structure illustrates linkage with the lipocalin superfamily.

Almost Bi-Γ-Ideals and Fuzzy Almost Bi-Γ-Ideals of Γ-Semigroups
In this paper, we introduce the notions of almost bi-Γ-ideals and fuzzy almost bi-Γ-ideals of Γ-semigroups and give properties of them. Moreover, we investigate relationship between almost bi-Γ-ideals and fuzzy almost bi-Γ-ideals.
