Asymmetric λ–deformed cosets

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
We study the integrable asymmetric λ-deformations of the SO(n+1)/SO(n) coset models, following the prescription proposed in [1]. We construct all corresponding deformed geometries in an inductive way. Remarkably we find a Z2 transformation which maps the

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Lacunarity of geophysical well logs in the Cantarell oil field, Gulf of Mexico [PDF]

open access: yesGeofísica Internacional, 2006
Lacunarity and fractal variations in geophysical well logs are associated with stratigraphic and petrophysical properties of the naturally fractured Cantarell field in the Gulf of Mexico.

Testing lepton flavour universality in semileptonic Λ b  → Λ c * decays

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
Lepton Flavour Universality tests with semileptonic Λ b  → Λ c * decays are important to corroborate the present anomalies in the similar ratios RD∗ $$ {R_D}_{{}^{\left(\ast \right)}} $$, and can provide complementary constraints on possible origins of ...

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

λ≤5的区传递7-(v, k, λ)设计的存在性(The existence of block-transitive 7-(v, k, λ) designs with λ≤5)

open access: yesZhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban, 2013

Electron-insulator interaction and secondary electron yield at any Kelvin temperature

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2021
The universal formulae for λ(χreal, Eg, T) and λ(χreal, Eg, T)p of insulator having less impurities are experimentally proved, where λ(χreal, Eg, T) is the mean escape depth at Kelvin temperature T of secondary electrons emitted from insulators with band

Proteasomal degradation of intracellularly expressed Amblyomin‐X limits suicide gene therapy potential in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...
