Conformational modulation of sequence recognition in synthetic macromolecules [PDF]
The different triplet sequences in high molecular weight aromatic copolyimides comprising pyromellitimide units ("I") flanked by either ether-ketone ("K") or ether-sulfone residues ("S") show different binding strengths for pyrene-based tweezer-molecules.

Spectroscopic study of proflavine adsorption on the carbon nanotube surface [PDF]
The present paper sheds light on one of the possible mechanisms of interaction between the typical aromatic dye proflavine and the carbon nanotube surface, namely, π-stacking between aromatic rings of these compounds.

Molecular design of orthogonal stacking system at the complex interface of HtrA PDZ domain with its peptide ligands [PDF]
The high temperature requirement A (HtrA) protease plays a crucial role in protein quality control and cell fate. The enzyme contains a catalytic protease domain and a regulatory PDZ domain; the latter determines the substrate specificity of the former ...

On the importance of π–π stacking and cation–anion interactions in the construction of non-centrosymmetric networks of bromide salts of imidazolium cations bearing arene and polyfluoroarene rings [PDF]
The salt 1-(2,3,5,6-tetrafluoropyridyl)-3-benzylimidazolium bromide crystallizes in the non-centrosymmetric space group Pna2₁. The structure arises from π–π stacking between the benzyl and tetrafluoropyridyl groups of the cations and cation–bromide ...

1-Methyl-3-(2-methylphenyl)-4-phenyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine
In the title compound, C19H16N4, the pyrazolopyrimidine unit is slightly twisted. A combination of π-stacking and offset π-stacking interactions forms columns along the b-axis direction.
