Mechanochemical Dissociation of Singlet Carbene–CS2 Adducts
European Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 16, April 23, 2025.The mechanochemical release of carbon disulfide (CS2) from singlet carbene–CS₂ adducts is explored. While N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) and N,N’‐diamidocarbene (DAC) adducts exhibit complete conversion, cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene (CAAC) adduct undergoes decomposition.
